The PPM V2 Aquanaut 5261R features an approximately 40mm rose-gold-tone case with contrasting brushed and polished surfaces and the distinctive rounded-octagonal Aquanaut bezel.
This V2 configuration uses a weighted construction of approximately 128g, giving the watch considerably more wrist presence than conventional stainless-steel-based versions.
The centerpiece is the blue-grey embossed Aquanaut-pattern dial, paired with rose-gold-tone applied Arabic numerals and baton-style hands with luminous filling.
The complicated dial layout includes the day indication at 3 o’clock, month at 9 o’clock, moonphase at 12 o’clock, and date aperture at 6 o’clock.
A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view of the decorated automatic annual-calendar movement.
The watch is paired with a matching blue-grey composite-style rubber strap and rose-gold-tone folding clasp, continuing the sporty character of the Aquanaut platform.
Powering the watch is the upgraded Dandong PP26-330 Integrated Automatic Annual Calendar movement. Unlike earlier decorative versions of the 5261R, the V2 movement provides functional calendar complications rather than purely cosmetic subdials.
The day, date, month and moonphase are functional, providing the complete visual complication layout of the 5261R.
With its weighted construction, blue-grey embossed dial, functional annual-calendar layout, exhibition caseback and integrated Dandong PP26-330 movement, the PPM V2 represents a substantial mechanical upgrade over earlier 5261R configurations.
