The QF V9 Day-Date features a substantial 40mm case with a heavyweight construction bringing the complete watch to approximately 210 grams. The added weight gives the watch a notably more substantial presence on the wrist compared with conventional stainless steel-based versions.
The centerpiece is the green ombré dial, transitioning from a vivid green center toward progressively darker tones around the outer edge. The gradient effect changes noticeably under different lighting and contrasts beautifully against the warm yellow-gold-tone case and bracelet.
A matching yellow-gold-tone fluted bezel surrounds the dial, while the sapphire crystal features a magnifying lens over the date display at 3 o’clock. The fully spelled-out day display remains prominently positioned at 12 o’clock.
The yellow-gold-tone President bracelet completes the classic Day-Date configuration, with its three-piece semicircular link construction providing a smooth transition from the 40mm case around the wrist.
Powering the watch is the JH3255 free-sprung automatic super clone movement. Rather than using a conventional regulator index, the free-sprung balance architecture uses weighted regulation at the balance, creating a movement configuration closer to the intended 3255 architecture.
The movement supports the signature Day-Date functionality with centrally mounted hours, minutes and seconds, instantaneous-style date indication at 3 o’clock, and full day display at 12 o’clock.
